Four Principles of Osteopathy

01
The body functions as a unit
Every part of the body is interconnected, both structurally and functionally. A restriction in one area can create dysfunction in another, and we must view and treat the person as a whole to find the root of the problem.
02
The rule of the artery
Healthy tissues rely on proper circulation. Osteopathy supports optimal blood and fluid flow to nourish, oxygenate, and detoxify all areas of the body.
03
Structure and function are interrelated
How the body is aligned structurally directly affects how it functions and vice versa. Addressing misalignments improves function, performance, and recovery.
04
The body has the innate ability to self-heal
Healing does not come from external influences alone, but from within. Osteopathy creates the space and balanced conditions that allow the body to adapt, regulate, and restore health.

Kinesiology

Move better. Feel stronger. Recover faster.

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement and function. It combines anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology to help individuals move better, feel stronger, and recover faster.

Whether you are in the midst of an injury, surgery, or chronic condition, OsteoKinetic Wellness can help you get back to yourself again. Services

How can we help you?

Explore our osteopathy and kinesiology services designed to address the root of your concerns.

Headache & Concussion Management

Osteopathy supports recovery from headaches and concussions by gently releasing restrictions in the cranial bones, spine, and surrounding tissues, helping to improve circulation and drainage, reduce pressure in the cranium, and regulate the nervous system.

TMJ (Jaw) Pain

Through precise manual techniques, osteopathy can release tension in the jaw, neck, and cranial structures, improving joint alignment and relieving pain associated with dental work and TMJ dysfunction.

Stress & Nervous System Regulation

Osteopathic treatment helps regulate the autonomic nervous system by calming overactive stress responses, treating key areas such as the diaphragm, craniosacral system, and spine, helping you down-regulate, reset, and feel grounded again.

Pediatric Conditions

Safe, non-invasive osteopathic techniques support healthy growth and function in children through helping with conditions like colic, reflux, torticollis, latching, constipation, and developmental imbalances from birth and beyond.

Joint & Muscle Pain

Using a structural and functional approach, osteopathy treats the root of joint and muscle pain by releasing restrictions, improving mobility, and supporting long-term alignment and balance.

Ongoing Digestive Issues

Osteopathic manipulation of the visceral system supports better organ mobility, circulation, and nerve function, helping to reduce bloating, discomfort, and digestive irregularities.

Sciatic & Nerve Pain

By gently decompressing and relieving pressure around the spine, pelvis, and soft tissues, osteopathic treatment can relieve nerve impingement and improve mobility and comfort in cases of sciatica or radiating pain.

Recurring Injuries

Break the cycle of recurring injuries by addressing underlying movement dysfunctions, compensations, and imbalances that may be keeping your body from fully healing and moving at its best.

Injury Prevention

Osteopathy helps identify and release strain patterns, compensations, and misalignments. The result: restored balance, so your body stays fluid and resilient under whatever new demands it may face.

About

Greg Willett, B.Kin

Greg Willett, Registered Kinesiologist and Student Osteopath

About Me

Greg graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (B.Kin) and is currently in his final year at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver (D.O.M.P.). He provides kinesiology manual therapy treatments with an osteopathic approach, integrating modalities from both disciplines to assess movement patterns as well as anatomical, physiological, and emotional relations to find the root cause of his patients' symptoms.

Greg's interest in human anatomy began from an early age once he began engaging in all sports with a focus in competitive hockey. His journey through recreational sport has been both exhilarating and challenging, marked by multiple debilitating disc herniations that left him significantly disabled for years of his life. These experiences became the catalyst for his passion for osteopathy and helping others regain their confidence through movement and their sense of self following injury or ailment.

The holistic approach of osteopathy, viewing the body not as a collection of parts but as a harmonious functional unit, resonated deeply with him and guided him towards this fulfilling path to help others.

Greg believes that his personal encounters with severe injuries have given him a unique perspective on the struggles faced by his patients. He understands the physical pain, the psychosocial and emotional factors, and the feelings of isolation and mental strain that accompany injuries and ailments. This understanding fuels his mission to continually learn the science and master the art of osteopathy and kinesiology, striving to help others achieve the highest possible quality of life.
